The Bouche de Betizac chestnut is a large caliber chestnut and has a mild flavor.
It is a recent variety originating in France and its harvest begins in September, making it one of the first chestnut varieties of the year.
In our case, our Bouche de Betizac chestnuts come from our property in Esperança, where we have a chestnut grove with around 350 chestnut trees of this variety and as many of the national variety Martaínha.
