FSC CERTIFIED CHESTNUTS
Have you had problems with the quality of your chestnuts in recent years?
With all the problems that have hit chestnut trees, quality chestnuts were rare on the market in 2023.
Chestnuts are fresh fruit (not dried) and tend to spoil quickly. On many properties, chestnut harvesting is done only once, which means that the chestnuts have already been in the ground for sometimes more than 15 days. In addition to storage and distribution time, many chestnuts are consumed several weeks after they fall, which considerably increases the probability of them being spoiled.
At RH Florestal, we collect several harvests per campaign, package them and deliver them within a few days anywhere in the country so that the chestnut is at its best when it reaches the consumer.
FSC certification (the first for this product in Portugal) guarantees the responsible management of our forests and helps us preserve them for the future.
By choosing this product you are helping us take care of the forests in Portugal.
The 1 kg cardboard box allows efficient storage and stock management for the supermarket and a clear differentiation of our product compared to traditional bulk chestnuts, of uncertain origin and quality.
Furthermore, by guaranteeing a quality product upon delivery and indicating the ideal consumption date, we believe that we will generate a relationship of trust between our brand and the consumer.
