Our chestnut trees on the Esperança property are starting to produce chestnuts!
On this property we have two varieties of chestnuts (Martaínha and Betizac)
The Martaínha chestnut is one of the main chestnuts to be produced in Portugal and it is a small and strong flavoured chestnut. The Betizac chestnut is a large caliber chestnut, with a milder flavor.
Let's hope that this autumn you can taste our chestnuts!
